Ronald McDonald House Wishlist Drive

Salt River Electric, along with other Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives, are collecting much-needed items for Ronald McDonald Houses in Lexington and Louisville through our Wish List Drive during the month of July!

If you purchase items from the Amazon list, please have them delivered to your home address and deliver them to our office.

Our annual Wish List Drive campaign supports both Ronald McDonald Houses, not-for-profit homes that enable families to be near their hospitalized children. In the past, Kentucky co-ops have delivered more than $12,000 worth of items each year.

“Ronald McDonald House Charities offer a wonderful service to families in our area and throughout Kentucky by providing housing for families when children are hospitalized,” said Zach Epperson, Salt River’s Manager of Communication. “It is a tremendous comfort for families during a distressing time, and we are proud of our employees and our members for supporting this cause.”

Donations will be delivered to the Houses later this summer and will included snacks, personal care items and other products to help families feel at home while staying at the Ronald McDonald House facilities.

We are thankful for their gift of filling our shelves, our families’ stomachs and all of our hearts.”
