For over 60 years, rural electric cooperatives from around the country have annually sent high school juniors on a week-long trip to Washington, D.C. as part of the annual Washington Youth Tour. The goal of the WYT is to promote leadership and civic responsibility to our students, all while students see sites, meet with elected officials, and learn how co-ops work to better the communities we serve.
